Ceiling Tiles and Floods

“PAWTUCKET – In Pawtucket’s City Hall there are buckets set up to catch dripping water, and ceiling tiles that are completely rotted through… creating quite an eyesore on the top floor.”

“Leaking and flooding have been issues under the building’s tower for years,  but now there’s an even bigger concern.”

“”Sinus problems, breathing issues, and headaches and so forth and so on,” said City Councilor Albert Vitali as he described the symptoms more than 10 city hall employees told him they have been experiencing.”

“He says they believe the health issues stem from mold.”

Hurricane season is slowly approaching and now is the time to upgrade your old ceiling tiles with our 100% waterproof tiles. They will never be damaged from water or harbor dangerous mold. newceilingtiles.com

Asbestos Found in Ceiling Tiles at University

“A student publication at Sonoma State University reports that traces of deadly asbestos dust have been found in at least one building on the sprawling campus in Rohnert Park, California, prompting officials to advise faculty members not to disturb the dust lest they create a health hazard.

“The article in the Sonoma State Star explains that friable asbestos was found in floor and ceiling tiles in Stevenson Hall, which houses the offices of the school’s Sociology Department.”

Ceiling tiles manufactured with asbestos are toxic.

Our ceiling tiles are 100% waterproof (no mold) and asbestos free. They will never need to be replaced. For more information on what hazards to look for on your ceiling tiles visit http://www.newceilingtiles.com/pages/mold.html

Water Damage to cost $15,000

A broken water main caused a minor flood inside the Roanoke Rescue Mission’s main dining area early Friday, damaging ceiling tiles and covering floors with more than 2 inches of water.

This is the second time this year that the Rescue Mission has dealt with a water-related emergency. Earlier, the sprinkler system burst in the women’s and children’s center as pipes thawed from a frigid cold spell. The water damaged three rooms, floors and equipment in the Information Technology area. Repairs to that area, which cost about $15,000, had just been completed last week.

Due to weather, more roofs will be leaking. As a result more drop ceiling will be damaged and will have to be replaced. Why continue to purchase ceilings that have to be replaced when wet.

Our ceiling tiles are 100% waterproof and never have to be replaced. Check out our website and vast inventory for everything you need for the last ceiling tile system you ever have to buy.
